Our story
Started in 2017.Still here.
Joel started JGB Stump Grinding after running into the same problem on every tree-removal job: the felling crew leaves, and the homeowner is stuck with a stump that nobody wants to come back for. JGB exists to be the call you make for that.
Most weeks, that’s 15–25 jobs across the Houston metro — water oaks, pecans, crepe myrtles, hackberries, the occasional stubborn ligustrum hedge. Single stumps, hedge-row removals, post-storm cleanup. No mowing, no tree felling, no chasing of work outside the trade.
The pitch is boring on purpose. Show up when you said you would. Quote what the job actually costs. Grind below grade so the area is plantable. Backfill with chips or haul them off. Leave the property cleaner than you found it.
